The Technical Project Manager role requires a combination of Technical and Tactical strategic thinking to help the engineering teams take decisions in the right direction. Also, this role involves handling multiple stakeholders, multiple projects deliverables and communicate through many channels (email, IM, phone, etc.) all in a fast-paced, always growing and very demanding business.

You need to be able to manage and lead by example multiple teams with a positive attitude bringing out the best of people. This role is key to achieve success at Feedzai making sure we always give clients the features we have agreed, in the perfect timing and with the correct tech quality desired.

Your day–to–day

  • Ensure that timelines defined by Product team are met
  • Work with key stakeholders across all groups within the Engineering and Product Teams
  • Lead technical teams consisting of software engineers and data scientists
  • Communicate deliverables status to key stakeholders
  • Lead the scrum team in sprint planning and backlog grooming. Must have experience leading daily stand ups
  • Report on Scrum ceremonies outcomes and team’s productivity understanding the concept of Estimations, Velocity, Burndown charts, etc.
  • Lead the Engineering teams through continuous improvement methodologies
  • Understand and promote automation processes for faster and more reliable deliverables and overall project quality
  • Promote knowledge share across all teams by promotion the documentation of products, features and overall software development procedures

Your know how

  • Experience in managing projects for internal / external clients
  • 3+ years of Team Leading and / or Management experience in managing technical projects and engineering teams
  • Must demonstrate clear and concise writing ability in different communication channels (email, formal, documents, etc...)
  • Capable of leading by example not being afraid to take risks and to go beyond what’s expected
  • Proven experience in Agile Project Management in tools like JIRA and Confluence


  • Experience working on projects that move quickly that have ever-changing process and structure
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, adaptability, problem solving, and critical thinking
  • Be able to handle stakeholder’s expectations and push-back when necessary to ensure the success of the project
  • Be solution oriented, and when issues arise, be able to roll up sleeves and tackle them with a ‘get it done’ attitude
  • Team player with a clear focus of taking the performance of teams to the next level
