Feedzai is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Product Manager with a strong data science background and customer focus to guide the development of our Machine Learning products.

You’ll be working at the intersection of Engineering, Data Science, Business and Design, understanding both the technical and business side of the product and working closely with the Data Science and Engineering teams to deliver value to our customers. The product manager works with data scientists, and development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release.


Your day–to–day

  • Play a pivotal role in the Product development lifecycle of our machine learning products, bridging product strategy and customer needs with the technical delivery and go-to-market
  • Work with our customers to understand and evaluate their use-cases and assess how the Feedzai OpenML platform can evolve in order to help in satisfying their business requirements
  • Create prototypes in R, Python, Java, Scala or similar to demonstrate the results of various algorithmic approaches, evaluate their performance, and articulate challenges in tooling, debugging, and use of existing machine learning components.
  • Communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and agile teams and translate it into what needs to be built and evolved;
  • Lead requirements gathering effort on the epics and stories as needed — consulting with product management, and other stakeholders;
  • Work with UX/UI Designers to iterate on the definition of the user experience and feature screens
  • Decompose & detail User Stories from more coarsely defined requirements (Epics and Features), and help the engineering team define and decompose Technical Stories
  • Engage and work closely with data scientists and engineers, helping prioritize features, tracking and validating product development and work on product launch plans
  • Participate and provide product guidance over engineering and data science innovation initiatives.

Your know how

  • Previous experience as a data scientist
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, statistics, applied math or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in R, Matlab, Python Scikit-learn or other statistical modeling package / environment, with a focus on machine learning
  • Good knowledge of Hadoop technology stack (MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Mahout, Spark, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Spark, Livy, Zeppelin, Jupyter, or related technologies.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager is valued, as well as experience driving the development and roadmap of a digital product
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide guidance, direction and be able to set measurable goals
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, for both business and technical audiences
  • You’ll be working with an international team and customers so fluency in English (Written and spoken) is mandatory
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced environment and to grow and achieve stretch goals


  • Experience in the fraud detection and/or digital payments area.
