Klarna is all about smooth payments and is well on it’s way to becoming the worldsfavorite way to buy! We use our proprietary credit offerings and dynamic checkout solutions to drive conversion increase across desktop, tablet and mobile - upwards of 80% uplift in some cases. Oh, and we also take all of the risk - so merchants can go back to doing what they do best.

A dominant player across Europe for the past decade, we are now focused on expanding our presence here in the US and that is why we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing Commercial team.

What you will be doing:

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing merchants, as well as internal colleagues across the company
  • Drive new business by developing new leads with merchants whom you’ve identified as key growth opportunities
  • Manage the full sales life-cycle from prospecting to close
  • Work with Commercial team to enhance the sales process and better define our market strategy

You have a strong understanding of eCommerce and the desire to truly make a difference for the companies to which you sell. You have the ability to translate complex scenarios into simple solutions. You can sell and you love to do it. You know it is hard work and hard earned success, and you know that there a no excuses for not delivering results. But you love the challenge and being responsible for your own success!. Your CV will demonstrate this with a strong track record of performance. Experience selling into enterprise merchants is desired, but not a must have. Willingness to work, and thrive, in a fast-paced and high-growth environment is required.

Preferably you have previous experience in the eCommerce industry, payments or other technologies. You have either been on the buying or selling side for a minimum of 3-5 years and hold a bachelors degree (MBA preferred).
