Klarna is building one of the world's strongest brands in the payments space and needless to say our marketing department plays a key role in this effort, shaping and spreading our message about simple online buying to merchants and consumers across the globe.

We are currently searching for a highly qualified candidate to join our B2B-team as a Content Marketing Specialist.

What you will be doing

Based on insights and knowledge of the markets in which we operate, our brand, products and customers you will create content for use in marketing programs/campaigns towards our prospects and customers. You will work with subject matter experts to transform raw content into impactful deliverables. You will be responsible for collaborating with regional marketers ensuring high-quality content that can be utilised in our acquisition strategies. You will also set the scene with a solid content- purpose, goal, distribution plan, target group, call to actions and expected outcome. You are metrics driven and always focusing on the expected business outcome.

You will report directly to the VP of B2B marketing. We envision you as our funnel manager star - understanding content principles and taking those principles into action by ensuring optimized conversions across the whole buyer's journey.

It is important that you are able to embrace the varied nature of this role; you will need to be both strategic and forward-looking while at the same time able to take personal ownership for the more tactical delivery on a weekly basis. Putting together a relevant blog post or writing a full length article is no problem for you, but you are equally as good in coordinating and managing our content agencies and project manage content production that others propose and suggest to you. Probably you have worked with them before - and your network of ghost writers, UX-writers and experts within this field is extensive.

In order to succeed in this role we believe that you will have:

  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience - content production, writer, editor
  • A fluency in English (preferably your mother tongue), and additional languages (such as Swedish and/or German) is a plus.
  • A flexible and adaptable skillset with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • An understanding of online UX, online marketing principles and strategy.
  • Payments industry experience or e-commerce background
  • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms, back-end processes and IT technology and systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A highly collaborative work style with demonstrated successful interactions with internal parties and vendor partners.
