Full time Developer JAVA

Job Description

Do you enjoy being a part of the entire software development lifecycle; from design to deployment, ensuring the highest code quality and performance at every step? Then you’ll love what we have here at Klarna! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join the core processing team in Stockholm, Sweden.

We build teams that are inclusive, helpful, and have a strong sense of ownership for the things they build. We are looking for positive and passionate people who will put teamwork and collaboration above all else. You will need to be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment and able to navigate ambiguity and a high rate of change.

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will be part of a small cross-functional team of talented Software Engineers working towards shared goals by building microservices in Java and third-party systems.

You will take part in design discussions with your colleagues to find good solutions to complex engineering challenges, while following development best practices and Agile development processes.

We also strongly believe in the “You Build It, You Run It” ethos and everyone is expected to be part of the full SDLC, including ensuring reliability and uptime in the production environment.

A bit about you:

You have some experience building scalable software in a distributed architecture and above all a passion for solving challenging problems in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

You take great pride in your ability to grasp complex business scenarios and translating them into solutions with clean and performant code.

Since we operate in a regulated industry you are happy to follow the processes and procedures necessary to work in that type of environment.

You believe in your own abilities but also appreciate that there is an endless ocean of new things to learn and take on board, and cherish the opportunity to do so.
