Job Description

IT at Ripple keeps the lights on and enables our employees around the world to work with technology in the most efficient way possible. We’re hiring our first person in IT support outside of the worldwide Ripple headquarters in San Francisco. This position will be based in London, and he/she will be responsible for managing and delivering the best IT support on the planet, enabling employees to innovate and operate at their peak potential. This position will report directly to the Head of IT based in San Francisco.
  • Must be able to interact with users in a professional and supportive manner
  • Maintain and support Ripple’s employees in resolving problems with IT, AV/VC, VOIP and Networks systems in mixed Mac and Windows environments
  • Manage the repair of broken or defective laptops, printers or other hardware as required
  • Manage the operations and maintenance of all conferencing systems for the London office
  • Run the IT New Hire orientation
  • Document support and operations processes
  • Manage hardware and software purchasing for London/APAC
  • Maintain accurate Asset Management records
  • Manage all aspects of IT for the London office


  • Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in an IT support role in a rapid growth environment
  • Experience with purchasing, inventory management and accounting
  • Sound knowledge of information and communications technology fundamentals
  • Ability to help Ripple employees solve hardware and software problems on Mac and Windows platforms, as well as BlueJeans, Cisco Meraki and printers
  • Experience with hosted productivity and communications applications, including G-Suites, MS Office, Adobe, and the ability to train and support employees on their use
  • Knowledge of Apple, Android, RingCentral VOIP systems and the ability to advise and help employees with those tools
  • Must be willing to travel to other office locations in U.S. and APAC
  • A positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Good verbal and written communications skills


  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
  • Apple Certified Maintenance Technician (ACMT)
  • JAMF/Casper Suite certification
  • Knowledge of and experience with the specific products used at Ripple, including: Okta, Jira Service Desk, BlueJeans
  • Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, CCDP (Wireless &/or Security)
