Job Description

We started iZettle with a single mission: to empower small-business owners to sell smarter by offering them the tools typically reserved for bigger players. We have come a long way, but there is so much exciting work ahead of us. And we need the best and brightest to help us get it done. Our fast-growing start-up was founded in 2010 and currently has approximately 450 employees across its offices in Berlin, London, Edinburgh, Madrid, Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Stockholm (HQ).

After our merger with Intelligent Point of Sale(iPOS), we are looking for a competent Sales Engineer, you will be tasked to support the Account Executives in helping our customers realise their requirements for their new POS system.

 

You will use the information that the Account Executive has passed over to you and will use this to demo the system to the customer showing them how the system will work for them.

 

Along with these, you will also be tasked with doing our weekly sales webinars as well as our daily New Customer webinars as well.

 

You will also help with the organisation of installs and will book these in with our installation partners and make sure that the customer has all their hardware and they understand what needs to be done before our installation team arrives on site.

 

Finally, you will then facilitate the hand over to the support team once the customer has had an install or attended the webinars.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Identify the current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers.
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating the cost reductions and operations improvements, that the customer will benefit from as a result of implementing an iPOS point of sale system in combination with iZettle.
  • Have a deep understanding of the product and how it can be used in different environments.
  • Gather a deep understanding the technical requirements of the customer and feed this back into the account executive team to build a quote around.
  • Understand what the customer setup for internet connectivity is and advise what may be needed to operate both iZettle & iPOS.
  • Contribute & run the weekly or daily webinars for the product sales or New Customers teams.
  • Booking in installs and liaising with our install partners to make sure that the install happens on time and the customer is happy with the outcome.
