TransferWise is the clever new way to move money between countries. Co-founded by Skype’s first employee and backed by some of planet's most experienced innovators, including Sir Richard Branson, we're disrupting the world of international money transfer. That means flipping a gazillion dollar industry on its head and taking power away from banks and the establishment.

We’re growing at an extraordinary rate and looking for exceptional talent to jump on board. We’re currently 650 people strong and handling many millions of pounds daily.

We are looking for an analyst to join our product team in London. You'll be part of the team that owns the front-end experience for first-time customers, both on web and on mobile apps. This team has successfully on-boarded over a million customers, and they now need you for the millions more to come.

What you’ll do:

Product — the team scopes, builds and ships product changes and new features regularly. You will be heavily involved in this process, where you will (a) set up AB tests, define success metrics, and track their performance, (b) run ad hoc analyses, and (c) evaluate potential new ideas.
Customer — you will work to understand our potential customers. You’ll go beyond quantitative data and qualitatively gather information from users (call/email/survey/interview).
Performance — you will track the performance of our product in our largest market, the UK. This involves (a) building & maintaining product and growth KPI dashboards, and (b) projecting & sharing monthly product and growth updates.
Collaborate — you will work closely with all teams across the company — product, marketing, operations, engineering, finance, etc — in addition to working alongside engineers, designers and product managers in your own team.
What you’ll need:

Tools — the ability to pull, process, and extract insights from data. We are agnostic as to the specific tools you use (our analysts use Python, R, SQL, google sheets, excel and more). You’ll need to be equally comfortable writing an ad hoc SQL query, wrangling data in a google sheet, or pulling data from a restful api.
Statistics — you think in confidence intervals and not point estimates
Ownership — able to take ownership of a project and see it through from end to end
Communication — excellent communication skills. You’ll be sharing the team’s updates with the company, as well as collaborating with teams across the company.
Bonus — experience with any of the following: Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Looker.
