TransferWise is an international money transfer startup based in Shoreditch (the hub of London’s startup scene), co-founded by Skype’s first employee and backed by the likes of Andreessen Horowitz, Sir Richard Branson, and PayPal founder Max Levchin. We've turned the world of international payments for consumers on its head. Now we are going strong after businesses and marketplaces with our business payout API.

We’ve recently opened the TransferWise platform to businesses and marketplaces making high volumes of international and domestic payouts. With local payouts in over 60 countries, including UK Faster Payments, our payouts are faster, more reliable, highly scalable, and cheaper than the alternatives.

We’re looking for an energetic, slightly geeky, product focused, curious, relationship building closer who knows their way around a payout API and will get great satisfaction driving business payments through the TransferWise API.

You will:

Enthusiastically become an expert on all aspects of TransferWise including our technology, the quirks of INR (for example) payouts, PEP and sanctions checks, local payment systems and Estonian saunas.
Close deals with EU and UK businesses and marketplaces.
Successfully onboard your client to the TransferWise API - commercials, technicals, compliance, and relationship building.
Prioritize inbound and outbound leads to make the highest impact for customers and TransferWise
Be a leader in the sales and business development team.
Work closely with our internal teams such as compliance, operations, technical support and finance to find solutions to customers needs, problem-solve issues, and evolve the API product.
Must Haves:

A proven track record of being able to deliver exceptional sales results, especially from an early stage in the product’s development. You’ll be ready to show what these are, and how you made them happen.
Experience in the technology or payment industry, with focus on business development, sales, and product.
You’re happy to demo an API and can go deep on product.
Formidable with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides (and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
