Job Description

We’re looking for a practical, collaborative and experienced Assistant Company Secretary to support our board and Company Secretary. This is an opportunity to help establish and develop new systems and processes and work closely with the legal and governance teams to make sure we are fully compliant.

You’ll spend your time:

  • Helping to organise our board and committee meetings by creating board and committee agendas, collating and distributing papers on time and minute taking!
  • Working with the Company Secretary and the Finance team with Monzo’s annual reports and accounts.
  • Keeping up to date with legal developments and sharing this internally.
  • Onboarding new directors and board members for Monzo.
  • Helping Monzo comply with any corporate governance obligations under the FRC Corporate Governance Code and Guide to Board Effectiveness, the PRA and the FCA rule book.
  • Looking after our filings and returns on Companies House.
  • Dealing with requests from our shareholders/investors.
  • Turning your hand to all aspects of board administration and board diary management.
  • And much more!

Logistics

The application process consists of a short phone interview with a recruiter, followed by a longer technical call with the hiring manager and a couple of on-site interviews at our office in London.
