A bit about the job

We’re looking for an experienced social media pro to lead our global organic social media community and content strategy. They’ll define and execute our plans for scaling and growing social media content in both new and existing markets. They’ll champion our mission to make finance fair and help our community to make smart financial decisions to help grow the TransferWise revolution.

To achieve this, we expect you to build a team of social superstars to mobilise a movement within communities all over the world.

The majority of TransferWise growth comes from our existing customers - you’ll use social media to grow and leverage this evangelical community, working closely with our paid social, content, customer support and virality teams.

You’ll work alongside our local content teams to help guide production and distribution of our best in class content to relevant social media audiences.

We need a champion for social media at TransferWise. Someone who can help the product teams figure out how to build an experience that is social first.

You’ll love this role if you…

  • Have a strong vision of the power of social media to bring a community together or create a movement, and you have the ability to rally a team around you.
  • Have hands on experience managing social media teams for a fast growing brand or startup.
  • Put the customer first, always. There is no point in social media unless you understand how you’re helping customers.
  • Know what quality content is for a given audience and won’t settle for anything less.
  • Like getting stuck in. You’ll have the freedom to focus where you think you can truly make an impact.
  • A solid understanding of paid social and SEO.
  • Can accurately define and measure the success of content marketing.
