We're looking for a People Data Analyst who is excited to help build the bank of the future.

At Monzo, we're building a bank that is fair, transparent and a delight to use. We’re growing extremely fast and have over a million customers in the UK, with over 100,000 new people joining every month. We’ve built a product that people love and more than 80% of our growth comes from word of mouth and referrals.

In the People Collective, we want to build a world-class system to make that growth easy. We've grown from less than 20 people to over 700 people in the last 3 years. We're spread across 3 offices and 35% of our workers are distributed. ****You'll have the opportunity to work between our data team and People Collective - helping us analyse and understand our people and hiring data, enabling us to make better decisions, faster.

We have a strong culture of data-driven decision making across the whole company. And we're great believers in powerful, real-time analytics and empowerment of the wider business. All our data lives in one place and is super easy to use. 90% of day-to-day data-driven decisions are covered by self-serve analytics through Looker which gives data scientists the head space to focus on more impactful business questions and analyses.

You'll be the first person in this role so there is an opportunity to really define what it looks like working alongside our people organisation. Even though your focus will be working with people, you'll have lot's of opportunities to collaborate and learn from other people in the data team.

As part of your role, you'll:

  • Work with other internal squads to determine the most impactful data we can gather to keep us on track with company-wide goals
  • Guide and enable the People Collective do define the metrics that matter and build the dashboards that track those KPIs
  • Produce insights to help us hire the best people while doubling our headcount every six months
  • Design and build dashboards that inform our Executive team's People decisions
  • Liaise with key members of the team to make sure we collect the right data to produce relevant business insights
  • Deliver training to to the People Collective on how they can access and use data effectively

  • You have multiple years of analytics experience, preferably in a fast moving tech company
  • You've had exposure to working with people data before

This role is based at our office in London, where you’ll work alongside engineers, designers, banking experts and customer support specialists to build the future of banking.
