Job Description

Paysafe is currently seeking a highly motivated, flexible and experienced Scrum Master. Reporting to the Scrum Masters team lead.  The Scrum Master will lead several Scrum teams working in a dynamic and complex environment.  The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring that all activities assigned to the Scrum team are performed in a timely manner, while maintaining the highest quality of performance. This role is execution focused, and will play a key role in the driving teams and project deliverables in a matrix environment while operating in an agile framework.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the delivery of multiple projects across multiple teams
  • Coordinate planning and execution to ensure cost, time, and quality goals are met.
  • Support agile processes/methodologies within the matrix teams.
  • Facilitate day to day team interactions, remove roadblocks, and support team members.
  • Conduct all Scrum related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospective, and product demos.
  • Interface with personnel and product owners on an active basis to manage product backlogs and sprint activities
  • Remove obstacles and manage risks to enable team efficiency and      effectiveness
  • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing, and leveraging metrics to continuously improve the team's efficiency and performance
  • Liaise between product management, developers, testers and business stakeholders to foster quality communication
  • Provide appropriate oversight on the team's progress to ensure delivery is on time
  • Ensure all scrum activities are tracked, and kept up-to-date, and reported on a daily basis
  • Ensure product quality and timeliness of efforts

 

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing or performing IT      development projects using an Agile/Scrum approach
  • Ability to apply Scrum estimation techniques to software development efforts
  • Ability to identify and manage risk
  • Strong leadership and organization skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, project planning, people and team building skills
  • Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints
  • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas

  • Experience with JIRA and JIRA Agile
