Job Description

Paysafe is currently seeking a UX Developer to join its team. The UX Developer plays an integral role in the development and maintenance of our front-end projects. As a UX Developer at Paysafe, you will be responsible to help build Angular 2 applications for our digital wallet products. Additionally, you will be helping to build our internal Angular 2 component library, building complex, reusable, interactive components.


The ideal candidate will have experience building web applications in Angular 2 and thrive in a team environment that requires strong problem solving skills, innovation and attention to detail.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Creating a beautiful front-end experience.
  • Provide expertise with HTML 5, (S)CSS, JavaScript, Angular 2, RxJS, as well as other client-side technologies.
  • Writing maintainable, tested, and well documented client-side code that adhere to best practices.
  • Translate visual and written designs into efficient reusable Angular 2 components.
  • Liaise with UX Team, Development, Test Analysts, Product Management, and Project Management.
  • Attend daily scrums, project meetings, and department meetings as required.
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on and apply new technologies and processes.
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment.


Required skills/qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of HTML 5, (S)CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with modern SPA frameworks such as Angular, React, etc.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a web developer focusing on front-end development and implementation.
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in a related discipline (computer science, web development, etc.), or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with front-end build tools, such as NPM, Yarn, Gulp, etc.
  • Experience with responsive design/development.
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues, from IE8 and Firefox 3.5 to modern browsers and mobile devices.
  • Working with code repositories such as GIT or SVN.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
