Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Intern Business Development Executive to join our London based Business Development team. Reporting into the Director of Sales, the incumbent will take responsibility for starting and developing relationships with new, medium and large sized merchants by offering the Digital Wallets’ suite of solutions and ultimately growing our merchant base by generating fresh revenue.  

 

This role provides a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, ambitious and results driven individual, to make their mark with an award winning organisation that is moving into the next stage of its global development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Intern Business Development Executive, covering all verticals for our Digital Wallet offering.
  • Outbound sales. Cold calling and face to face meetings once established.
  • Reporting into and working closely with the Director of Sales.
  • Identify and close new business opportunities
  • Identify new vertical opportunities and grow the brand recognition across new and existing verticals.
  • Liaise with marketing and product teams to ensure the sales function is supported and merchants’ expectations are met.
  • Organise, attend and represent the company at events and exhibitions.

  • High Internet affinity along with ability to work with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Degree in a business or related field
  • Fluent in English (second language is a bonus)
