We are currently looking for a Senior Credit Risk Underwriter. As a part of our Risk Management team, the chosen candidate will have the following responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of the business case, the collateral collection and the development, documentation, and execution of standardized policy to ensure best business practices.
  • Co-development and adherence to best practices for Anti-Money Laundering and "Know Your Customer" policies.

  • Liaise with our merchants and internal departments and present case to key management related to specific merchants.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental, bank, credit card and other payment companies or associations' rules.

Education and Qualifications

  • University degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Social Sciences or in an equivalent field of study.
  • 5 years of experience in underwriting, specifically in online payment processing, e-commerce or banking environment.
  • Must possess strong organizational, analytical and communication skills as well as great problem solving and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently or in a team.
  • Self-motivated, diligent, resourceful, and able to learn internal systems quickly.
  • Highly proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel.

We are currently looking for a principal credit risk underwriter. The successful candidate will work within our risk management team. His main responsibilities will be as follows.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze queries about public databases on an enterprise; Collecting materials; Develop, document and implement a standardized policy to ensure best business practices.
  • Ensure the joint development and implementation of best practices in anti-money laundering and client knowledge policies.
  • In accordance with established policies, assess the risk potential of traders through a thorough understanding of their financial resources, sources of income, credit history and liabilities; Track all activities and produce summary reports on progress.
  • Liaise with our merchants and internal services and provide key executives with records on selected merchants.
  • Ensure compliance with the regulations of all levels of government, banks, credit card companies and other payment industry companies or associations.
  • Assume responsibility for establishing risk parameters for traders based on the historical volume and activities of traders.
  • Conducting investigations into unusual situations and activities by internal means such as reviewing requests for offsetting and authorizations, as well as analyzing information on applications.

 

Education and Skills

  • Advanced university degree in commerce, business administration, social sciences or an equivalent field of study.
  • Five years of relevant underwriting experience, including in an online, e-commerce or banking environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills and excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, alone or in a team environment.
  • Motivation, meticulousness, resourcefulness and ability to learn quickly from internal systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, with experience in advanced formulas and tools related to more complex analyzes.
