FANS Entertainment is a fast growing company created in 2013 that specializes in mobile platforms. Over the past three years, we have developed various solutions for the sports and entertainment industries. We are expanding our product range for small and large companies in all vertical markets. FANS Entertainment, headquartered in Old Montreal, is also a subsidiary of Paysafe.

 

We are now able to market a new platform called GOLO, for GO LOCAL. This platform helps local stores to engage with their true followers, their customers. This new concept of local commerce helps merchants sell their goods on a mobile platform for pick-up or delivery. This concept will change the face of conventional commerce, in addition to the growing need of customers to save time, act quickly, order and pay from their smartphones. We want GOLO to be THE reference for mobile control!

 

Reporting to the Vice President Operations, the Marketing Director will be a key member of the FANS management team. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for a wide range of activities including managing and overseeing marketing campaigns and strategies across our product lines, developing and managing the website, Online, digital advertising, and corporate events.

The ideal candidate must be creative, thorough, able to identify new opportunities and prosper in a rapidly changing environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Building and Growing a Team of Marketing Experts
  • Identify, develop and implement a marketing strategy that is aligned with business objectives and market characteristics
  • Manage budgets and expenditures
  • Direct marketing strategies for new and existing markets
  • Find innovative ways to increase brand awareness and attract new customers
  • Ensure the launch of strong marketing campaigns for companies and customers
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competition
  • Manage all digital marketing campaigns
  • Analyze the results of marketing campaigns to determine their profitability
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing, search engines and referencing
  • Support the sales team in various marketing projects
  • Collaborate with external marketing agencies and coordinate partnerships

Qualifications and competences :

  • At least 8 years experience in a similar position
  • Diploma in marketing or relevant marketing experience in a business environment (B2B marketing experience) Bilingual
  • Relevant work experience in e-commerce and mobile commerce
  • Strong influencing and communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders and leaders
  • Proven team management experience
  • Minutia and strong project management skills
  • Diverse marketing skills (ability to write sales and marketing materials, good design judgment, attention to detail, implementation and evaluation of results)

The Marketing Director will be responsible for a broad range of marketing activities including leadership and driving, marketing campaigns and strategies for all our product lines, developing and managing the web-site, online campaigns, digital advertising, corporate events and all corporate presentations. 

The ideal candidate must be creative, detail oriented, ability to find new opportunities for a company in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow a Marketing team with expertise
  • Identify, develop, and execute marketing strategies based on corporate goals and market characteristics
  • Manage budgets and expenses
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for existing and new markets.
  • Find innovative ways to increase our awareness and attract new customers
  • Strong business and consumer marketing
  • Stay abreast of competitive analysis and market trends
  • Manage all digital marketing campaigns
  • Analyze marketing campaigns results to determine cost effectiveness
  • Seek and secure new thinking leadership opportunities
  • Develop and manage sales and marketing
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing, SEM, SEO & Display
  • RFP's, vertical networking events, channel associations etc.
  • Managing the production and distribution of marketing materials and presentations, sales collateral, RFP documents and various print materials
  • Provide ad hoc marketing support to members of the sales team

Qualification and skills :

  • Minimum of 8 years in a similar role
  • Degree-diploma in marketing or experience in a business environment (B2B marketing experience)
  • Bilingualism
  • Relevant work experience in e-commerce, m-commerce
  • C-level executives C-level executives
  • Has proven experience in managing a team and demonstrate excellent team leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and solid project management skills
  • Broad marketing skills (eye-to-eye training)
