Job Description

Stripe is looking for a IT Support lead for the Dublin Office. You will be the first IT hire in Europe and will be foundational to building a new team there. You will be the point of contact for all IT issues related to Dublin, London, and remotes in the region. You will work with and support Stripes at every level of the company. You will independently help other stripes with their technology needs, and ensure IT issues never hinder the productivity and creativity of fellow Stripes.

You will:

  • Support Stripe systems (Apple, Dropbox, Gmail, Slack, Bluejeans, Crestron, Lifesize etc.)
  • Help maintain a physical inventory of IT hardware (computers, peripherals, and accessories)
  • Support live and streaming video events, record and archive events as needed
  • Support and maintain AV systems across Stripe globally
  • Proactively identify and address technical issues across the company
  • Assist with IT onboarding and training curriculum
  • Design, update, and maintain IT documentation
  • Able to travel to other Stripe offices in the region

Our ideal candidate will:

  • 3-6 years of experience providing IT Support
  • Experience supporting AV equipment and events
  • Possess expert knowledge of Apple systems and software (Apple Certified)
  • Possess working scripting knowledge (ex: Ruby, Google Apps Script, Shell, Python)
  • Possess working knowledge of imaging/endpoint management tools (DeployStudio, Munki, Puppet)
  • Familiar with ticketing systems (JIRA) and support success metrics
  • Able to independently manage and prioritize workload
  • Be empathetic, humble, and possess a strong focus on customer service
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
