Job Description

As a member of the Silverfin SDR team, you play an important role in the sales team. You’re an ambassador of the Silverfin brand by being the first point of contact with potential customers. You’re responsible for the qualification of inbound leads that come in via the website, as well as for outbound prospecting into prospective customers. You support a team of Account Executives in building pipeline and managing a territory.

Your job

  • Be on the phone to build and manage lead development pipeline
  • Prospect into multiple organizations via cold-calling, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, and utilizing Internet information sources
  • Achieve or exceed goal for evaluations and first meetings on a monthly basis
  • Qualify inbound leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions
  • Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call
  • Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Silverfin– and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers
  • Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence, and communications)
  • Provide weekly activity report to management
  • Update lead stage and prospect interaction in the crm throughout

  • Ability to understand and successfully promote a technical offering and solution
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and cold-calling
  • Knowledge of accounting is a plus
  • Experience with a crm system is a plus
