An early-stage fintech company looking for a compliance specialist

Are you excited about and have a desire to work in the Fintech sector. 

We are looking for smart and motivated people with problem-solving skills, that are resourceful and are tech and Internet savvy. Knowledge of payments products is desirable.

An early-stage fintech company focusing on transactional banking, international remittances, payments and foreign exchange for Small Medium Enterprises and Private individuals is looking for hands-on compliance person with a sounds understanding of Risk-Based Approach and onboarding and monitoring processes for transactional banking and payments. 

40% of the job will be focusing on reviewing customer files and transactions and making compliance decisions. Further 30% of the job will be testing systems, maintaining process documentation and policies, while further 30% on keeping abreast of new compliance and regulatory developments and planning for the scalability of the compliance function. 

So what would you be doing?

  • Reviewing client files
  • Reviewing Risk Model and Compliance & Transactions monitoring system 
  • Evaluating compliance risks
  • Monitoring  regulatory reporting requirements and coordinating submissions
  • Developing and maintaining compliance-related business requirements documents and use cases
  • Testing compliance systems
  • Providing day to day advice on Payment Services Regulations (PSRs) and other regulatory requirements
  • Identifying and analysing regulatory change relating to payments
