Job Description

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Business and Data analyst equipped with a strong analytical background, who loves working with data, analysing trends and finding correlations in the numbers. Has a strong attention to detail, likes to get in and build campaigns, workflows and user flows, and has experience with engaging users online.

This person will work closely with the Xpenditure growth team to give users the best possible experience. This is done through our customer behaviour analysis using data-driven scoring system to determine the next project to be implemented that will affect key goals and metrics around Acquisitions, Activation, Retention, Referral and Revenue.

 

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Develop and maintain KPIs to measure growth and success of digital campaigns
  • AB tests to optimise and drive sales
  • Collaborate with product to gain insight into our customer
  • Understanding customer behaviour and using it to inform marketing campaigns, projects and initiatives
  • Working with designers to turn an idea into a beautifully executed campaign
  • Use data to segment customers and create retention strategies
  • Setup a BI tool and run analyses to identify areas of opportunities
  • Build dashboards to help measure progress towards our goals
  • Build a robust tracking system to determine the ROI on ad campaigns (FB, Instagram, etc), and additional growth tactics
  • Uncover unique data insights to feature in press stories
  • Report to VP Growth & Marketing
  • Collaborate with our VP Product and our VP Engineering

Qualifications

  • You have 2-5 years of professional experience, and are comfortable working in a high-performing team
  • Very strong background in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python or other similar scripting language
  • Experience with Periscope, Looker or similar programs
  • High level awareness of modern technologies, tools and analytics packages (e.g. Google analytics, Hubspot, Mixpanel, Segment, Intercom, etc)
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to be able to extract meaningful insights from data
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing
  • Belief that A/B testing is mandatory and fun
  • “Growth hacker” mindset
  • Strong desire to make a real impact
