Description

As a Software Developer in the marketing department you will be responsible for setting up digital campaigns from beginning to end: from creating complex workflows that connect Email, Push Notifications, In-App Banners, Google Ads, Incentives, etc. to support our campaigns.

This is a development/engineering position, in which you'll be an integral part of setting up a technology stack that ensures other departments have the tools they need to run effective Marketing campaigns.

You will work closely with the Marketing and Engineering departments to ensure each campaign is running with the right content and implementation, and with teams across the company to help deliver marketing support to product launches, client communications, new content initiatives, or events. This position reports to the Growth Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the SEO team to deliver and execute both on-page and off-page updates

  • Build and implement email campaigns in our CRM (Customer.io) for the marketing team's requirements

  • Development and/or coordination of owned properties including microsites, emails, landing pages, notifications and chat bots

  • Develop and/or coordinate new platform features to support the marketing team's requirements

  • Develop and maintain user experience across all of these properties through A/B testing with the aim to increase customer engagement and conversion

  • Work with the marketing team to transform ideas and requirements into solutions for web development projects 

  • Work across departments to help integrate the marketing technology stack across existing and new properties

  • Always look for opportunities for improvement in design, development and process in order to evolve the email offering

  • Assist with the implementation of the different Marketing platforms tracking systems for optimal performance tracking

  • Work with the marketing team to keep website(s) content updated

  • Empower the Marketing and Product teams with the tools they need to keep the website updated across all language iterations; including changes to language, imagery, tracking, pixels and linking

Qualifications

  • Ability to efficiently communicate in English (written and verbal)

  • Previous experience working with an automated customer interaction tool such as Customer.io, Intercom, Mixpanel, etc.

  • Well versed in creating, managing and analysing A/B tests, whether it is email, push notifications or app features

  • Proficient with Git, Javascript and modern development pipelines

  • At least 3 years experience in Node.js applications

  • A willingness to learn, a flexibility to adapt, an appetite for risk and innovation
