As the Lead Risk Partner – Conduct & Regulatory, you will work within the first line risk management for the customer strategy and innovation (CSI) business area that covers the Products, Marketing, Communication, Data and Digital teams. You will enable them to manage risk effectively to provide an amazing customer experience. 
So what would you be doing?...
• Acting as the centre of expertise for conduct and regulatory risk management and processes within CS&I, which includes coaching, supporting and where required appropriate challenge for CSI teams • Working with CSI teams’ initiatives to execute the new product development process in line with project timelines – identifying the level of governance required, and key risks • Developing and monitoring the CSI conduct / regulatory risk profile to reflect current and emerging risk themes• Providing input to treatment strategy and approach for remediation activity and lessons learned • Developing and monitoring conduct risk appetite and key risk indicators for CSI, to support early identification of risks and themes across all areas

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders• You will have strong risk management experience within a risk function or leading risk and governance activities within a business team • We need you to have experience developing and overseeing conduct risk and third-party arrangements, such as in establishing new product governance controls and ideally be familiar with agile ways of working • Leadership experience is essential  • Naturally, you will be comfortable establishing relationships at senior levels, with an influential positive style and approach• You will be a strong communicator, able to distill complex topics and communicate simple and pragmatic solutions• In order to be fantastic in this role, you need to have an amazing knowledge and understanding of regulations, which include the FCA handbook, CONC (and related consumer credit legislation), BCOBS, MCOBs, payment services regulations and GDPR
