Job Description

As Senior Payments Product & Regulatory Counsel, you will work closely with our General Counsel and collaborate with business partners across the organization to provide practical legal advice and support across all business lines. As an integral part of our small but agile Legal Team, you will work on some of the most exciting legal and business issues in fintech today. The projects you take on will challenge you to think big and create innovative solutions that will produce real change.


  • Provide pragmatic legal advice related to the development and deployment of cross-border payments software and technologies
  • Support efficient product development, and develop legal/product processes, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Advise business clients around the globe on a wide variety of regulatory and cutting-edge legal issues and risks, in a diverse range of practice areas within a fast-paced environment


  • Attorney with a JD, top academic credentials and admission to a state bar
  • 10+ years of combined relevant experience at a big law firm and in house in financial technology and payments
  • Experience counseling during product development
  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • You thrive on effectively driving cross-functional priorities
  • Deep substantive knowledge of global payments regulation and correspondent banking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines and act decisively
  • Ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner and provide succinct, practical and results-oriented legal advice
  • Experience working with, and advising senior leadership
  • Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful and flexible
  • Excellent business judgment, communication and interpersonal skills
