Job Description

Ripple is expanding its Compliance team and seeks to hire an experienced BSA/AML Director This position will be focused on managing day-to-day BSA/AML/OFAC program activities and will report directly to the BSA Officer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage the day-to-day BSA/AML/OFAC compliance needs of XRP II, LLC, a money services business and wholly-owned subsidiary of Ripple Labs Inc.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain policies and procedures and control processes for effective management of XRP II’s BSA/AML/OFAC program
  • Conduct secondary reviews and act as the escalation conduit for all due diligence and investigation reviews, providing guidance and feedback to BSA team members as needed
  • Conduct periodic testing of implemented BSA/AML/OFAC controls; provide recommendations and oversee any corrective actions and program enhancements
  • Collaborate with the BSA Officer on quarterly and annual strategic planning priorities
  • In coordination with the BSA Officer, develop and track BSA team and program metrics
  • Under the direction of the BSA Officer, lead regulatory compliance training efforts for all Ripple employees
  • Manage ad-hoc Ripple projects as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 7+ years of BSA/AML/OFAC experience
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC regulations and requirements
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects
  • Comfortable providing constructive feedback, mentoring and training to BSA Compliance team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; at ease communicating and presenting to Senior Management
  • Payments / MSB / fintech experience necessary
  • Must be CAMS certified
