Job Description
Guideline is seeking a full cycle technical recruiter to join our Talent team. You will be our first recruiter and will help shape our Talent strategy as we continue our fast-paced growth.  The ideal person understands hiring for all levels, as well as the challenges of recruiting top talent in the Bay Area. He or she will enter with a strategy for hiring A players who are eager to ship product in a fast-growing startup. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to make an immediate impact. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive, integrated recruiting strategy to attract top talent
  • Own the full cycle recruiting process for technical talent, including sourcing and closing of all candidates
  • Recruit passive candidates and identify attractive applicants, assessing skills, motivation, and fit
  • Evaluate, streamline, and improve our current recruiting processes. Obsess about candidate experience and provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate
  • Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers by understanding hiring needs and goals inside out and by sharing actionable feedback and best practices
  • Identify and measure key metrics to gauge recruitment efforts. We’re a data-driven company and think you should be too 
 
Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years full cycle technical recruiting experience at a start-up
  • Ability to partner with hiring managers, interview panels, and team members throughout the hiring process
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches, projects, and competing priorities 
  • Experience sourcing candidates in addition to managing organic applicant pipelines
  • A drive to own and define processes as the first Talent hire
  • A passion for financial technology and financial inclusion a plus
  • Ability to pass background check and credit check for employment
