About the Role

Robinhood’s business is growing and scaling at hyper speed, and we’re excited to keep building rewards systems that inspire and motivate our high growth employees. We’re searching for an exceptional Compensation Partner to help us grow and take our rewards systems to the next level. We’re looking for someone who is a fast learner, is excited to run programs from start-to-finish, who has a track record of effective compensation partnerships at previous companies (ideally pre-IPO and public), who has mastered the nuances of equity compensation, and who can help us firmly and empathetically deliver compensation to candidates and employees.

As the Compensation Partner, you will:

  • Design and deliver high quality compensation planning cycles from start to finish, delivering meaningful merit and promotion increases to reward impact
  • Be responsible for benchmarking, modeling, planning, award letter generation, payroll/equity projections, communications, manager talking points, and post-cycle analysis
  • Work with Recruiting to iterate on compensation bands to keep Robinhood competitive, and build tools to provide new hire offer recommendations efficiently and effectively
  • Partner with our co-founders and leadership team to suggest improvements to our compensation philosophy and design 
  • Own job matching along with salary and equity survey benchmarking
  • Partner with managers and HR to address employee compensation questions
  • Help out other parts of People Operations, whether the need is analytics, modeling, or program management

Some things we consider critical to being a Compensation Partner:

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation-related roles, with increasing levels of responsibility, ownership
  • High velocity modeling abilities;  statistical and technical skills a plus
  • Expertise with private and public company equity compensation, including NSOs, ISO, and RSUs, and design/tax/IPO/employee tradeoffs
  • Interest in the science behind motivation, performance, rewards systems, pay equity, and high growth cultures
  • Excitement to be the founding member of Robinhood’s compensation team
